Collection: Vintage Travel

Changing attitudes, changing travel customs and changing societies can all be seen in old travel books and memoirs. It must have been so different to travel, knowing that when you arrived at your destination, you wouldn't be emailing or messaging or calling people back home. That the distance you had covered wouldn't be instantly breached by your smartphone.
