A Caravan Close Behind

A lovely, cosy and warmly funny account of one family and their travels around Europe - mum, dad and four kids, in the 1960s. Author and mum, Joyce tells a good tale and isn't above laughing at herself. 

"Mummy, all the ladies are looking at you. It's your clothes," says one of the children as they walk through an Italian village. It made me chuckle. 

A sweet little book.
