An account of the travels of three itinerant missionaries, written by Mildred Cable. She had spent 20 years living in North China when she decided to trek through the Gobi Desert with her two companions. Wonderful descriptions of people, places, caves and monasteries. Some beautiful old photos and a fold out map. This book was first published in 1942 and this edition in 1946.
In very good condition but first page has a handwritten dedication to the previous owner who was clearly gifted it - in 1946.
