Carrie Fisher was the daughter of Hollywood royalty, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. She grew up surrounded by stars, was made famous herself in the original Star Wars, married Paul Simon, divorced him and so on. But she also famously and openly battled with addiction and mental health issues - and in this book her voices is outrageous, self-deprecating and very funny. It's lovely, easy reading, which usually means really hard writing. 

It's also quite a slim book, so if you get put off by those doorstopper books, - give this a try.
