This is a beautiful edition of short stories from author Katherine Mansfield. Mansfield was born in New Zealand and spent much of her adult life in Europe. She died of tuberculosis in 1923 when she was just 34. Before that she had achieved much in her writing life. Her stories are wonderful and this edition is a great book to keep on the shelf and dip into a few stories now and then. It's also a pretty good intro to Mansfield's work. 

Hardback edition in excellent condition. I suspect this had a dust jacket at some point - it doesn't now. But is otherwise as new. this edition published 1923.
