The wartime diaries of the Countess of Ranfurly from 1939 to 1945. When World War 2 broke out Dan Ranfurly was sent to the Middle East with his valet, Whitaker. His young wife, Hermione, followed him to the Middle East and then spent six years travelling whilst he was a prisoner.
Interesting and extraordinary. With plenty of black and white photos.
Paperback, published in 1995. Previous owner’s name on the front page; otherwise in good condition as a reading copy.
