By Ivan M Donaldson
An engaging and easy to read memoir of one of NZ's wine pioneers.
Ivan Donaldson was a young doctor who started making home brew with wife, Chris. Together they started the Pegasus Bay Winery, now one of New Zealand's most well-known wineries.
I liked this story. How does a doctor end up making wine? Part medical memoir and part wine memoir - it's a fun read. And Donaldson doesn't take himself too seriously, which always makes for a better memoir
First published in 2014. In the preface Donaldson mentions that he is donating all royalties and profits from his book to NZ Brain Research Trust. I like that intention so the sale price of this preloved edition will be donated to NZ Brain Research Trust.
