Hardback with dust jacket. The dust jacket is frayed and torn at the front. Overall it's quite faded and in used condition. But inside the book is in good readable condition, no missing pages, rips, etc. 

A really interesting, easy-to-read account of life in the Mackenzie country in the early 1900s. Part personal memoir and part history, it recounts the building of the church at Tekapo to home-nursing, race days, dog trials and plenty of history. Plus plenty of wonderful old black and white photos.
