Great Expectations

Dickens was a prolific writer and this is one of his later novels, and one of the most well-known. It follows the story of an orphan, Pip, his education and progress through life as he tries to find who he is. There's a love interest, a convict and it's an easy read - a good introduction to Dickens if you haven't read any of his other books.
