This is the classic tale of boys stranded on a desert island, Ralph, Jack and Peterkin. Originally written in 1857 it's a jolly tale of good-hearted boys who work together to survive. It's very much of its time. Nearly 100 years later William Golding came along and wrote The Lord of The Flies which took a very different approach to how children may behave when stranded on an island.
