Austrian born mountaineer and writer, Heinrich Harrer, was the inspiration for that famous Brad Pitt movie - Seven Years in Tibet. After escaping a British prisoner of war camp in India in 1944, Harrer trekked to Tibet. This book tells more of his story - beyond the movie. Interesting stuff.
