A Nevil Shute Omnibus - No Highway, A Town Like Alice and On The Beach

Shute was born in 1899 in England and as well as being an aircraft engineer he served in both World Wars and was a prolific writer from his early 20s onwards. He was known for crafting some really gripping stories and continues to have a large fanbase even today. In 1950 he moved from England to Australia and wrote several novels set there. 

This omnibus is a great way to get started on Nevil Shute - it includes three of his novels  No Highway, A Town Like Alice and On The Beach.
